Job summary

School of Rock Waldwick is seeking a Vocal Instructor to join our high-energy, creative community focused on music education and performance. Ideal candidates have 3+ years teaching or performing, formal music-school training, and are active musicians living in Northern NJ for easy commute to Waldwick.

You’ll deliver engaging lessons, plan curriculum, and support a vibrant musical program. This is a part-time role with afternoon shifts, offering paid training on our curriculum and opportunities

Qualifications

3+ years of experience teaching and/or performing music professionally.
Formal music school training.
Active working musician.

Responsibilities

Music Instruction: Maximize the quality of private lessons and shows.
Lesson Planning: Create and document thoughtful lesson plans tailored to each student’s journey.
Customer Connection: Communicate regularly with parents on student progress.
Team Support: Assist rehearsals and follow safety policies.
