Job summary

School of Rock Royersford is seeking a Vocal Instructor to lead private lessons and ensemble rehearsals, delivering a dynamic student experience. You will foster musical growth, create engaging lesson plans, and help students develop performance-ready skills in a rock-based environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of teaching or performing music, deep knowledge of music theory, and strong communication with families.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience teaching and/or performing music professionally.
• Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design.
• Excellent ability to deal with a wide range of customers and people.
• Strong organizational skills and customer relations.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver private lessons and shows to maximize instruction quality.
• Ensure students learn music fundamentals, not just songs.
• Create and document thoughtful lesson plans.
• Regularly communicate progress with parents after lessons.
• Be visible and accessible in the school and assist in rehearsals and maintenance.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct and safety policies.
