School of Rock Madison invites a dynamic Vocal Instructor to join our team. You will teach personalized vocal lessons to diverse age groups, emphasizing healthy technique, breath control, and musicianship, while guiding students toward live performances.

We value passion for teaching, energy, and teamwork. This role offers a flexible schedule around 15–20 hours per week and the opportunity to contribute to a performance-based music education program.

Qualifications

• Strong vocal proficiency with healthy technique and music theory.
• Teaching and/or professional performance experience preferred.
• Positive, outgoing personality and passion for teaching.
• Dependable, energetic, patient, and a great team player.
• Ability to connect with learners of different ages and levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging vocal lessons to children, teens, and adults.
• Develop fundamentals in vocal technique, breath control, pitch, range, and musicianship.
• Inspire students to explore classic rock to modern hits.
• Prepare students for live performances and build confidence on stage.
• Create a fun, supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with musicians and instructors to deliver an excellent student experience.
• Communicate progress with students and parents.
