JOB SUMMARY:
The Trauma Recovery Center Patient Navigator serves as a role model and community liaison to individuals who are enrolled in the program that serves victims of violent crimes and their families towards healing and health symptoms related to the trauma from the violence,
TRC Patient Navigators are expected to develop relationships based on the trust with patients and families utilizing a trauma-informed approach, provide reliable information, appropriate community resource referrals, and emotional support to victims of violence,
The TRC Patient Navigator meets with victims in the community, as well as, structure and assertive outreach meetings to referral resources and community supports,
EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree required, social work, psychology, forensics or related field preferred with 2 yrs of recent experience, such as any combination of student, volunteer, or work experience, which involves the JC area and its community resources.
NJ active driver's license required

$19.27 minimum to $30.02 maximum Hourly Rate
