Job summary

LivaNova PLC is seeking a part-time Operating Room Support Specialist to assist in the Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) Therapy System procedures. You will support OR staff, participate in case coverage, and help with diagnostics and programming as needed.

The role requires travel to hospitals, credentialing coordination, and training at our Houston office. A BS/BA or clinical OR experience is expected, with strong communication and immunization requirements.

You will also be responsible for supporting OperatingRoom staff in product-related matters intraoperative, including VNS diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming assistance, so communication is an essential part of this job. The underlying knowledge of the VNS Therapy System is not necessary right away as training on the Vagus Nerve Stimulator will be provided at our Houston corporate office, as well as procedural training as needed. Travel requirements will be limited with the potential for an overnight stay on occasion. The Operating Room Support Specialist position is a field- based position requiring the employee to visit hospital facilities regularly.
