Job summary

DNI (Delaware Nation Industries) seeks a capable IT Systems Administrator to install and support Windows servers, storage arrays, and related server software. The role includes monitoring ServiceNow tickets, documenting tasks, and balancing operational work with project efforts such as STIG reporting and vulnerability remediation.

Preferred candidates will have strong virtualization skills (VMware, VxRail, Nutanix AHV, Hyper-V), Active Directory, DNS/DHCP/IPv6, and VDI experience, with a focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or closely related discipline with 3+ years experience or 7+ years to satisfy degree/experience.
• 5 years of experience with application servers, Web Servers, and network support (DNS/DHCP).
• Vulnerability mitigation experience.
• Familiarity with administration and security tools.
• Extensive hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting experience.
• Able to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay flexible in fast-paced settings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install and support physical and virtual servers (Windows) and storage arrays.
• Install and support server software applications.
• Monitor ServiceNow tickets and document thoroughly in ServiceNow and elsewhere.
• Balance workload between operations and projects (STIG reporting and vulnerability fixes).
• Design and specification tasks for new hardware, software, or storage systems and implement them.

Job description

The candidate will provide installation and support of physical and virtual servers (Windows), and installation and support of various data storage arrays. The candidate will be expected to install and support server software applications.

The candidate will be expected to monitor ServiceNow Incident Tickets, Change Tasks, and Project Tasks and provide thorough documentation within the ServiceNow system and outside of ServiceNow.

This candidate must be able to balance the workload between operational support and project tasks. Operational tasks include performing periodic Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) reporting and configuration tasks, and weekly review of vulnerability reports and implementation of vulnerability fixes. Project tasks could include specification and design of new hardware, software, or storage systems and the implementation of those systems.
