Job summary

Delaware Nation Industries is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to install and support physical and virtual Windows servers and storage arrays. You will monitor ServiceNow tickets, document clearly, and balance operational work with project tasks.

The role includes STIG reporting, vulnerability review, and implementing fixes, plus design and deployment of new hardware, software, and storage solutions. Strong AD, DNS/DHCP, and Windows Server skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or closely related discipline with 3+ years of experience or 7+ years of experience.
• 5 years of experience with application servers, Web Servers, and network support (DNS/DHCP).
• Knowledge of vulnerability mitigation and security tools.
• Extensive hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and support physical and virtual Windows servers and storage systems.
• Monitor ServiceNow tickets and document thoroughly in and out of ServiceNow.
• Balance workload between operational support and project tasks.
• Perform STIG reporting and weekly vulnerability review with fixes.

Job description

The candidate will provide installation and support of physical and virtual servers (Windows), and installation and support of various data storage arrays. The candidate will be expected to install and support server software applications.

The candidate will be expected to monitor ServiceNow Incident Tickets, Change Tasks, and Project Tasks and provide thorough documentation within the ServiceNow system and outside of ServiceNow.

This candidate must be able to balance the workload between operational support and project tasks. Operational tasks include performing periodic Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) reporting and configuration tasks, and weekly review of vulnerability reports and implementation of vulnerability fixes. Project tasks could include specification and design of new hardware, software, or storage systems and the implementation of those systems.

• Hyperconverged Infrastructure Installation and Support (VxRail)
