Job summary

Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is seeking a VMware Systems Administrator to support STORMS contract operations at Schriever SFB, CO. You will perform extensive hands-on work with OSR, WANIFs, encryption devices, and SCN components, maintaining VPNs, routers, switches, and firewalls while improving network performance.

You will deploy VMware solutions, manage Windows Server/AD, and provide SME support for Cisco ISE; DoD certifications and security clearances are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree with 5 years of experience or HS diploma/GED with 6–10 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required; Active Secret clearance to start; Top-Secret clearance possible.
• DoDM 8140.03 Intermediate Level certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Experience in trunk/circuit testing and monitoring for secure comms.
• Understanding of modern telecom networks architecture and circuits.
• Capable of autonomously handling tasks and addressing new challenges.
• Microsoft SQL Database Administrator experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain networks, VPNs, routers, switches, and firewalls; optimize performance.
• Coordinate with STORMS Team and customers for connectivity verification.
• Develop/deploy ANETS VMware solutions; administer and troubleshoot VMware environments.
• Manage Windows Server/AD; implement HA server/infrastructure; plan projects.
• Analyze and resolve OS/network/application performance issues.
• Handle client/server architecture and relational databases.
• Monitor and test Endpoint Security updates; implement policies for resources.
• administer Cisco ISE for network access control.
• Document processes and train personnel; perform complex configuration changes.
• Perform account, system, and database administration; manage tickets.
