Job summary

AFC Industries in Hartford, CT seeks a VMI Tech route delivery associate to coordinate on-site deliveries, schedule material flow, and convert scanned orders to sales orders. You will respond to stock issues, keep facilities organized, and relay customer requests to the account manager. Must lift up to 50 lbs and possess a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills with attention to detail. Previous route service experience is preferred.
• Must have a Good Driving Record with Valid Driver's License, MVR is required for this role

Responsibilities

• Route delivery and customer service at client facilities.
• Material scheduling at customer facilities; convert scanned orders to sales orders.
• Expedite and react to customer no stock and low stock situations; maintain organization at customer facilities.
