Job summary

Industrial Supply is seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Representative to partner with customers, manage inventory levels, and maintain vending solutions on a regular route.

You’ll visit customer locations, monitor stock, replenish products, and collaborate with the sales team to ensure service excellence while building lasting relationships.

Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a valid driver's license are required; experience with inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular service route and visit assigned customer locations on schedule.
• Monitor and replenish customer inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Manage industrial vending machines and ensure products are stocked accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize VMI systems to track inventory, replenish products, and monitor usage trends.
• Build strong relationships by serving as the primary contact for customers regarding VMI services.
• Collaborate with customers to understand inventory needs and recommend solutions.
• Work closely with Sales to identify opportunities for additional products and expanded services.
• Support customer retention by delivering reliable, responsive, and professional service.
• Participate in customer business reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicles in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
• Assist teammates with account coverage and cross-training as needed.
• Consistently meet service expectations and contribute to branch and sales goals.
