Job Title: VMAX Engineer / System Engineer
Location: Roseland, NJ
Duration: 6+ Months

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT environments, System Administration, Storage Administration, or IT consulting.
• 5+ years of Hands‑ON Experience in Symmetrix/Vmax Storage array infrastructure (Recent Experience/Last 5+ years).
• Hands‑ON Experience in Symmetrix/Vmax Migration within the last 2 years.
• Proficiency in Vmax using migration tools/methodologies, performance troubleshooting, SRDF, Timefinder, Open Replicator, SLOs/Tiering, and data migration support.
• Strong experience with Cisco MDS SAN Switches, SAN management, and configuration tools.
• Experience with Cisco MDS SAN Fabric/Switches, Fabric Manager, Device Manager, and Cisco SAN OS CLI.
• Working knowledge of SAN environment and replication.
• Experience with Windows, Unix, and ESX for storage‑related configuration steps.
• Self‑motivated, team player with a strong desire to learn and excel.
• Experience with HDS VSP/G1000 and/or XIV.
• Operating System, Backup, Storage and storage certifications are desirable.
• Experience with UNIX, Linux, and Windows administration.
