Aquent Talent is seeking a visionary Visual Merchandiser to lead design execution for in-store displays across a diverse brand portfolio. This temporary role focuses on translating brand narratives into captivating retail experiences and maintaining brand integrity.

You will manage full project cycles, develop guidelines, produce high-quality renders, collaborate with Art Directors, and stay ahead of trends in visual arts and merchandising.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in visual merchandising or related creative field.
• Proven experience in multi-channel retail environments.
• Ability to translate brand storytelling into disruptive, engaging visual merchandising.
• Proficient in both hands-on design and directing 2D/3D projects.
• Strong communication to present concepts and manage timelines.
• Self-starter who shows initiative and ownership.
• Exceptional design taste with a refined aesthetic.
• Strong adaptability and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD/3D tools.
• Experience with SketchUp and 3D CAD on MAC platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the full design execution of all visual merchandising requests, expertly managing projects through every phase.
• Drive special projects and large-scale campaigns, bringing innovative concepts to fruition.
• Present compelling concepts and provide clear status updates on current projects in various meetings.
• Develop and oversee the creation of comprehensive merchandising guidelines, ensuring consistency and brand integrity across all retail touchpoints.
• Generate innovative concepts and high-quality renders for in-store fixtures and displays that captivate and engage.
• Collaborate closely with Art Directors to fulfill graphic design needs for visual merchandising units, ensuring a cohesive brand message.
• Actively participate in briefing sessions, concept kickoffs, and development sessions to discuss objectives and foster innovation in new launches.
• Demonstrate a keen understanding of materials, cost implications, and time requirements for all projects, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
• Stay abreast of current trends in visual arts and merchandising, continuously bringing fresh perspectives and cutting-edge ideas to the team.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods or fashion industry, within visual merchandising, industrial design, store planning, or a related creative field.
• Proven experience in specialty multi-channel retail environments.
• A can-do attitude and adaptable spirit, thriving amidst evolving needs and requests in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong ability to translate brand storytelling into highly disruptive and engaging Visual Merchandising within a competitive retail landscape.
• Proficiency in both hands-on design and directing 2D and 3D projects, showcasing a versatile skill set.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present creative concepts while effectively managing timelines and due dates.
• A self-starter who proactively actions on projects without prompting, demonstrating initiative and ownership.
• Exceptional taste and a refined design aesthetic, with a portfolio that reflects high-quality work.
• Demonstrated learning agility and a strong ability to creatively problem-solve in a dynamic environment, with a keen eye for detail.
• Adept at building collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience in SketchUp and 3D CAD/Modelling and rendering on MAC platforms.
