Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree required and board-eligible or board-certified in ophthalmology.
• Completed ophthalmology residency with fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Tennessee.
• Demonstrates excellent medical and surgical judgment and ethical patient care.
• Effective communication with patients, colleagues, and referring providers.
• Value collaboration with optometrists and shared-care partners.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical retinal care for retina, vitreous, and macula diseases.
• Manage conditions including AMD, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears/detachments, and other disorders.
• Coordinate postoperative care and maintain clear communication with referring providers.
• Engage in quality-improvement initiatives and support professional education within the practice.
