Classification Minimum Requirements: MD/DO or equivalent trained in Vitreoretinal retina.

The University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville, Department of Ophthalmology/UF Jacksonville Eye Institute is looking toadd a part-time fellowship-trained Vitreoretinal Surgeon at the tenure or non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor.Salary will be commensurate to classification, rank, and experience.

The Department consists of a small but growing group of talented ophthalmologists and optometrists who offer a wide array of eye care services to the Jacksonville community. Our specialties include cornea and external disease,refractive surgery, glaucoma, anterior segment surgery, diseases of the retina, uveitis, ocular tumors, oculoplasticand orbital surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, contact lenses, low vision and electrophysiology. We are a multi-specialtyacademic practice with a robust clinical volume.

Required Qualifications:

MD/DO or equivalent fellowship trained in Vitreoretinal retina

Preferred:

Experience with inherited retinal diseases and research trials - BE/BC is preferred.
