Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Vitamin Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in the Vitamin Department and educate customers on supplements.

You will create and maintain department displays, price merchandise, assist with weekly ads, and guide shoppers to product locations while thriving in a fast-paced store environment.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a proactive approach to health education.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Respect others and uphold Sprouts' culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction in a team.
• Be willing to gain education on new products and alternative health.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout shift.
• Be able to maneuver a cart holding 20 lbs. up to 35 lbs. for up to 2 hours.
• Walk up to 3 miles in an 8 hour shift.
• Adhere to safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service in the Vitamin Department.
• Create and maintain department displays and accurately price merchandise with shelf tags and signs.
• Use supplement knowledge to answer questions and educate customers within proper parameters.
• Be familiar with events and seminars and share knowledge of weekly ad items.
• Direct customers to product locations throughout the store and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
