Responsibilities include:
- Act as manager when the manager is unavailable.
- Oversee shifts and delegate tasks.
- Restock the register nightly for correct change.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering.
- Help write schedules and address employee scheduling issues.
- Lead the team to ensure accurate and timely food service.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints politely.
- Manage deliveries, inventory, and communicate with management about store and staff issues.
- Manage break schedules, attend management meetings, and contribute ideas for improvements.
- Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
- Memorize and explain health benefits of ingredients to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the front lobby, outside area, and kitchen.
- Handle guest transactions, answer calls, and take orders.
- Follow recipes, prep food, and ensure sanitary food handling.
- Organize deliveries, wash dishes, and ensure order accuracy.
- Complete opening and closing duties and other tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to safety, sanitation, and cost-control procedures.
- Handle POS transactions and manage cash responsibly.
- Stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work with urgency.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Leadership and management experience are a plus, as is restaurant experience.
