You will monitor laboring patients, interpret fetal heart tracings, assist with deliveries, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and the broader care team while educating families and ensuring safe postpartum handoffs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor laboring patients and assess maternal condition.
• Interpret fetal heart tracings and recognize complications promptly.
• Assist with vaginal and operative deliveries, ensuring safe, timely interventions.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and coordinate care with the team.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and support staff.
• Educate patients and families on care needs and available resources.
• Ensure safe transitions to postpartum care through accurate handoff and documentation.
