Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the concept team with efficient 3D ideation and visualization, including photorealistic renders for client presentations and marketing materials.
• Assist Project Architects and Interior Designers with basic visualization and 3D support.
• Set up 3D scenes to facilitate future iteration and align with the office's visual identity.
• Step in to assist with complex visualization/3D needs across project timelines.
• Visualize a diverse range of architectural styles, from sleek/contemporary to rustic traditional, with authentic imperfection.

Job description

CTK Architecture is seeking a Visualization Designer to join our New York Office. This position is dedicated to supporting projects across the studio through the fast-paced production of thoughtful and artistically compelling 3D representation, ranging from diagrammatic to photorealistic. Working closely with the Concept and Visualization Team, this designer will play a key role in communicating design ideas, advancing early project development, and producing high-quality visual representation that supports the office's visual identity. The visualization materials produced by this role will be used for internal reviews, client presentations, RFPs, and marketing materials.

The ideal candidate has outstanding 3D modeling and render skills, a strong visual sensibility, and a passion for translating conceptual ideas into effective artistic imagery. They are intellectually curious, highly collaborative, and thrive in a boutique design-driven studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the concept team with efficient 3D ideation and visualization, as well as highly curated photorealistic visualization for major client presentations and marketing purposes.
• Assist Project Architects and Interior Designers with basic visualization and 3D support.
• Set up 3D scenes for Design Teams that will facilitate future iteration and align with the office's visual identity.
• Step in to assist with complex visualization/3D needs across project timelines.
• Visualize a diverse range of architectural styles and conditions, from sleek/contemporary to rustic traditional, incorporating the appropriate amount of imperfection to make a render feel authentic.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software. Knowledge of D5 is a plus.
• Outstanding 3D modeling and render skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of graphic quality.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple project teams.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity, initiative, and enthusiasm for learning new tools, workflows, and design processes.
