Position Summary

The Visual Production Specialist plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of creative activities directly related to the company’s Corporate Marketing functions. The role is responsible, under direct supervision and laddering up to the SVP CMO, for creating content related to social media, internal needs, and external needs that offer value, build trust, and encourage interaction between Guild customers, loan officers, and the leadership team. Beyond that, the value add is to attract potential consumers and industry professionals to join Guild. This role will be looked to as an expert in the field of video production under their supervisor.

Essential Functions

  1. Video editing (65%): Review, evaluate, edit, and cut footage to tell a story or communicate information as planned. Refine audio, add graphics, sounds, or images. Edits include corporate social media, internal messaging, marketing campaigns, event coverage, and more.
  2. Filming (25%): Operate cameras, generate lighting, audio, effects, and backgrounds. Develop scripts, select locations or talent, and implement real-time audio for webinars or podcasts.
  3. Other creative disciplines (10%): Exercise skills in photography, animation, or design as applicable.

Develop and implement marketing content, work with stakeholders, use Adobe Creative Suite, edit various video types, adhere to brand standards, collaborate with team members and vendors, and ensure regional and national relevance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Video Production, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years' experience in video production.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently or in a team, excellent communication skills.
  • Visual and auditory acuity, physical ability to handle equipment, and comfort with outdoor filming conditions.
  • Proficiency with camera equipment, lighting, and editing software; portfolio required.
  • Customer service orientation, storytelling ability, versatility in skills, positive attitude, and continuous learning mindset.

Supervision

Works under direct supervision, following specific instructions, with moderate review. May guide less experienced staff.

Requirements

  • Ability to move equipment, interpret visual and audio information, work outdoors, and handle physical demands.
  • Work primarily during weekdays, with 10-20% travel.

Guild offers a competitive salary range of $53,000 - $63,000 annually, with benefits. Guild is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
