Qualifications

• 4+ years in product or visual design.
• Portfolio showcasing exceptional taste in color, type, layout, and hierarchy.
• Experience in presentation design and graphic design balancing brand expression and usability.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools, producing production-ready specs.
• Hands-on experience applying high-level visual craft to digital products.
• Experience building or evolving a design system's visual layer and shipping presentation tools at scale (Nice to have).

About the role

You'll shape Gamma's visual identity within the product, collaborating with product, engineering, and design to ship stunning experiences across themes, layouts, and polish. That means owning and evolving our visual system, bringing brand into the product in meaningful and delightful ways, and applying a high level of craft to everything that touches users.

As Visual Product Designer, you'll bring hands-on experience in presentation and graphic design to everything you ship. You'll demonstrate exceptional taste in color, type, layout, and hierarchy while balancing brand expression with usability. You'll create production-ready specs in Figma, ensuring every pixel serves both aesthetic and functional goals.

Our team has a strong in-office culture and works in person 4–5 days per week in San Francisco. We love working together to stay creative and connected, with flexibility to work from home when focus matters most.

Compensation range:

The base salary for this full-time position, which spans multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $140K - $250K plus benefits & equity.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to experience and expertise in the requirements listed above.
