Job summary

Havertys is seeking a Visual Merchandising Coordinator for our new McKinney showroom. You will help ensure an appealing showroom aligned with corporate guidelines and collaborate with the store manager on floor plans and merchandising strategies.

The role involves coordinating displays, tagging, and maintaining safety standards while supporting the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Salary is hourly and commensurate with experience, with benefits and growth opportunities

Qualifications

Minimum six months to one year of related experience or training.
2+ years of retail display experience is desired.
Associate degree or equivalent educational knowledge preferred.
General computer skills; working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Office 365 preferred.

Responsibilities

Arrange and present merchandise on the showroom floor per Best Seller Report.
Plan for new merchandise with the store manager to remove or mark down floor-sampled items.
Transfer in new furniture and accessories according to placement plan.
Tag and display accessories and furniture per tagging guidelines; maintain walkways for safety.
