Job summary

Macy's Visual Support Captain role at Southridge Mall is a full-time opportunity to lead compelling visual presentations, mannequins, and displays that convey current fashion trends and seasonal campaigns.

You will collaborate with merchandising teams, update displays, and assist customers while maintaining Macy's standards. A background in retail visuals and 1–2 years of experience is preferred; strong customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Retail merchandising and/or visual display experience is required.
• Art, design, or creative background; awareness of current fashion trends preferred.
• Ability to interpret, lead and execute visual merchandising directives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a proactive visual presentation in the store.
• Demonstrate trend messaging and seasonal fashion statements.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams to complete workload.
• Update mannequin and visual presentations to uphold Macy's brand.
• Greet and assist customers locating items and suggest additional items.
• Understand store products, services, loyalty programs and POS systems to help customers.
• Ensure high level of customer service through problem-solving and resolutions.
• Maintain merchandising standards and proper fixture utilization.
• Deliver a neat, easy to shop store environment with accessibility in mind.
• Perform sales or support duties in addition to visual responsibilities.
• Work with store partners and Regional Visual leaders to align priorities.
• Provide feedback to People Leaders to improve processes and experience.
• Educate colleagues on merchandising and visual presentation.
