Job summary

Madewell in New York is seeking a Visual Associate to curate an inviting store environment with meticulous attention to detail. You will set up compelling window displays and merchandise layouts that engage customers and support sales, while learning our presentation standards both in front of house and back of house.

You will work with the store team to understand product placement, maintain floor sets, keep backstock organized, and use store systems effectively.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams
• Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks
• Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty
• Have scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product and lift at least 40 pounds (18 kg)

Responsibilities

• Create captivating window displays and merchandise layouts
• Execute organized and timely floor sets
• Work with store management on product placement and daily maintenance
• Keep backstock organized and move relevant products to floor regularly
• Comply with merchandise receiving and handling guidelines
• Use store systems and technology effectively
• Respond to customers with courtesy and respect
