We’re looking for a Visual Merchandiser to join our new team based at our new store in Soho, New York, USA.
Reporting to the Head of Retail, you’ll be an ambassador of the Brand with a strong awareness and adaptability to the luxury retail environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the highest level of visual standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and sophistication within the store. Additionally, you’ll support the store managers with the VM business strategy, including the development of visual guidelines and ensuring compliance with these guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain VM standards in line with guidelines and store needs, including designing window displays and managing product rotation in collaboration with the Head of Retail and Store Managers.
- Collaborate with Buying teams to create key looks, considering stakeholder opinions.
- Produce and manage digital visual merchandising packs, ensuring appropriate product selection and display.
- Analyze trends related to size, colour, and silhouette with the Allocators to manage product flow.
- Understand store operations and contribute to daily trade recaps and product updates.
- Deliver VM training to ensure team members understand display and window standards.
- Monitor competitors’ campaigns and trends, sharing insights with stakeholders.
- Lead and execute VM projects, optimizing budgets.
- Plan for upcoming product releases to ensure strong in-store representation.
- Complete sales floor performance reviews and take action accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing to align in-store digital touchpoints with product drops and social media campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, specifically mannequin dressing at a store or regional level, with a proven track record.
- Creative flair with an eye for aesthetics; interest in art and design is a plus.
- Excellent personal presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong work ethic and personal drive.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of different cultures to effectively implement visual merchandising across an international marketing calendar.
Salary - $55,000-$65,000
