Physical Demands

• The employee will regularly be standing, walking, lifting, and bending. Frequently lifts at least fifty (50) pounds. moves furniture and accessories and climbs ladders. Must be willing to travel up to 50 miles if needed.

Qualifications needed to perform this position

• Associate’s degree in Art, Interior Design, Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least two years of merchandising, interior design experience, or related experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with lead teams of varying job functions.
• Ability to work diligently with little supervision.
• Demonstrates creativity and understanding of advanced merchandising techniques.
• Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Adaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environment.
• Basic knowledge of retail business strategies.
• While performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job, the associate’s work varies between retail store and warehouse environments.
