Job summary

Wingert Land Services in Mankato, MN is seeking a Visual Media Intern to assist with videography, photography, and editing for social media, YouTube, and property marketing.

The internship is paid and averages 10–15 hours per week with a flexible schedule; you’ll work with our Creative Producer and gain experience from pre-shoot prep to final delivery.

A portfolio, showreel, or social media samples are required, and work will be done in person at filming locations.

Job description

Wingert Land Services is seeking a Visual Media Intern to assist with videography, photography, and editing for social media, YouTube, website, property marketing, and other digital platforms. The intern will work directly with our Creative Producer and gain experience throughout the production process, from preparing for a shoot through delivering the final content.

This is a paid internship averaging 10-15 hours per week and work schedule is flexible based on class schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with property shoots, interviews, events, educational videos, and other company content.
• Capture still photography, including property, event, team, and behind-the-scenes images.
• Help prepare shot lists and set up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Capture B-roll and supporting footage.
• Edit short-form and long-form videos.
• Edit and prepare photographs for marketing and digital use.
• Add captions, graphics, audio, color adjustments, and visual effects when needed.
• Adapt content for social media, YouTube, websites, and other platforms.
• Organize footage, photographs, project files, and completed content.

What We’re Looking For

• Student studying video production, film, photography, digital media, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience operating cameras and capturing video or still photography.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable software.
• Understanding of visual storytelling, composition, lighting, and audio.
• Attention to detail and the ability to complete projects on schedule.
• Willingness to receive feedback and work closely with a creative team.
• Availability to work in person in Mankato, MN and at area filming locations.
• A portfolio, showreel, social media account, or other examples of previous work are required. The work does not need to be related to agriculture or real estate.
