Job Summary:

The Visual Manager at Ted Baker and Scotch & Soda brands is a dynamic leadership role, responsible for implementing and evolving the brand's visual and merchandising strategies across store locations. This role ensures a consistent and captivating in-store experience that aligns with Ted Baker's unique identity and customer expectations. The Visual Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, providing expertise and guidance to store associates while driving sales and enhancing the overall customer experience through innovative visual presentations.

Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):

  • Develop and execute store-specific visual strategies aligned with Ted Baker's seasonal direction, brand guidelines, and commercial objectives.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of compelling visual displays, window installations, and in-store storytelling elements to reflect brand identity and elevate customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the corporate visual merchandising and marketing teams to adapt global directives for regional needs and store-specific demographics.
  • Act as the primary visual point of contact for store teams, ensuring alignment on brand standards and visual execution.
  • Train, mentor, and guide store associates and visual ambassadors on best practices in merchandising, product placement, and seasonal updates.
  • Lead the planning and execution of visual merchandising strategies for new store openings, seasonal transitions, and promotional events.
  • Monitor sales performance and customer feedback to optimize product placement and refine merchandising strategies, driving commercial results.
  • Conduct regular store visits to evaluate visual standards, identify opportunities, and implement solutions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure all visual elements, fixtures, and displays are well-maintained and adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Partner with the marketing and regional management teams to implement localized in-store events and promotional displays tailored to the customer base.

Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and teamwork within the visual and store teams.

Qualifications/Requirements:

5-7 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail operations, or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.

  • Deep understanding of visual merchandising principles, store layouts, and brand storytelling.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with experience training and mentoring store teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and customer insights to inform and adapt merchandising strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, working effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to travel between store locations as needed, with occasional overnight stays.
