Job summary

DreamWorks Animation is seeking a Spring 2027 Visual Development Intern to contribute to look development for our animated projects. The program runs January 25 – April 1, 2027, with 24 hours per week, in person (Tue-Thu) at our Glendale studio.

Applicants should be pursuing a degree or have recently graduated and possess strong Photoshop skills, plus familiarity with Maya or other 3D tools. The internship emphasizes collaboration with Production Designers and mentors to craft look development

Qualifications

• Strong Photoshop skills and basic design sense.
• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree (or recent graduate).
• Must be 18+ and able to work in Glendale, California; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Visualize look for feature films and TV projects for production.
• Work with Production Designers and mentors over a 10-week internship.
• Develop concept designs to final designs using mood boards, sets and color keys.
• Meet deadlines and communicate progress to supervisors.
