Job summary

Pocket is hiring a Visual Designer / Design Generalist to craft high-quality visuals across paid ads, social, landing pages, and marketing campaigns. You will support experienced designers and help maintain a strong visual standard as the company scales.

You should learn quickly, take feedback well, and produce reliable, high-quality work with attention to detail. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving startup environment with evolving priorities.

Qualifications

• A portfolio showing excellent visual taste and craft.
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Understanding of layout, typography, color, composition, and brand systems.
• Experience designing ads, marketing visuals, or social content.
• Ability to deliver clean, compelling work quickly without lowering quality.
• High attention to detail and consistent work quality.
• Ability to take direction, accept feedback, and iterate.
• Organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual assets for paid ads, social, website, email, and campaigns.
• Develop conversion-focused creative concepts and iterations for promotions.
• Support active design projects and overflow work for design and growth teams.
• Produce visuals for landing pages, product launches, presentations, and brand materials.
• Ensure consistent Pocket visual identity across channels.
• Adapt creative output rapidly for different markets, campaigns, and platforms.
• Collaborate with Growth, Marketing, Product, and senior designers to turn briefs into polished outputs.
• Lightweight video edits, motion content, and animated assets where relevant.
• Maintain organized design files and reusable assets for faster future work.
