Job summary

10x.team is seeking a senior visual designer based in the EU or UK for flexible remote freelance work (8–20 hrs/week). You will review AI-generated visual content, refine outputs, and craft realistic design scenarios to improve AI understanding of design practice.

You’ll evaluate accuracy and quality, provide structured feedback, and contribute to building scalable AI-driven design reasoning. This role offers a freelance, remote arrangement and access to our AI Academy.

About the Role

10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are looking for knowledgeable visual designers based in the EU or UK to enhance the accuracy, depth, and real-world relevance of AI-powered creative systems.

What You Will Do

• Review and refine AI-generated outputs related to visual design, user interface assets, branding concepts, and practical aspects of design workflows.
• Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, creativity, and alignment with professional design standards.
• Draft realistic design scenarios based on your direct professional experience.
• Create scenario variations from different perspectives (e.g. designer, client, creative director, or stakeholder)
• Identify gaps, oversights, or weak reasoning in AI-generated visual content

In simple terms:
You will assess and improve AI-generated content, ensuring it reflects true design reasoning, authentic documentation, and practical procedures. Rather than conducting traditional design projects, you’ll apply your expertise to help AI systems understand and reason about visual design at scale.

• 1. Traditional freelance missions
  These are regular project-based opportunities where the listed mission is the actual project you may work on.
• 2. AI Lab roles
  For AI Lab roles, we scout, review, and approve profiles for access to future project opportunities.

The missions listed for AI Lab roles are not traditional job openings. AI Lab work is often highly confidential as this exposes information of what an AI Lab is working on, and project requests are unpredictable. When an AI Lab request comes in, we often need to respond within 24 hours with suitable talent.

Matching depends on the specific needs of each AI Lab project and your niche expertise. Once your profile is reviewed and approved, you may be matched to relevant AI Lab projects when suitable opportunities arise.

This can happen within hours, but it may also take months, depending on the researchers at the AI labs and their project needs.

Compensation

€61 – €100 per hour
