Job description

Visual Design Manager role at Accenture Song (Design & Digital Products) based onsite in Saint Petersburg, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the visual design direction on engagements (internal or clients) from concept through delivery, with accountability for design quality, aesthetic cohesion, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Translate abstract briefs, brand strategy, and audience insights into clear, compelling visual languages as a conceptual thinker.
  • Set and defend a high visual craft standard directing the creation of brand identities, design systems, motion, typography, illustration, and digital experiences.
  • Balance vision with hands‑on work: define the creative direction while shaping key design decisions and producing high‑quality output alongside your team.
  • Utilize AI tools to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, modeling how these tools can augment, not replace, creative thinking.
  • Serve as a leading creative voice in client discussions, translating visual rationale into strategic narratives to guide high‑pressure decisions.
  • Document how AI changes visual design workflows and quantify its impact on delivery quality and team performance to evolve practice.
  • Contribute to proposals, create case studies, and translate project learnings into clear thought leadership showcasing visual design capabilities.
  • Identify and shape new creative opportunities with existing clients, partnering with account leads to build a compelling point of view around brand, design system, or experience challenges.
  • Manage, support, and mentor team members, helping them grow their visual craft, build confidence, navigate challenges, and evolve as designers.
  • Be an engaged member of the Visual Design craft, sharing methods, references, and project outcomes to contribute to the discipline’s evolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Visual Design spanning a range of industries, brand types, platforms, and visual contexts
  • 4+ years
    • Leading visual design engagements end‑to‑end, from creative concepting and visual strategy through to production‑ready delivery
    • Directing the creation of brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital UI that demonstrate a strong and consistent visual voice
    • Producing and directing high‑fidelity visual work with exceptional attention to detail, including pixel‑perfect deliverables and developer‑ready specifications
  • 3+ years
    • Directly managing or coaching visual designers, developing contributors into stronger, more independent practitioners
    • Working in agile and cross‑functional environments, collaborating with product designers, product managers, engineers, and strategists to deliver cohesive experiences
    • Delivering high‑caliber visual design work shipped at scale, solving complex product or brand challenges, and driving measurable impact across customer experiences and business goals
    • Experience in ground visual design decisions with a deep understanding of UX, ensuring visuals guide users intuitively while expressing a coherent brand point of view
    • Experience building and contributing to scalable design systems ensuring visual consistency across products, platforms, and channels
    • Experience embedding AI tools and workflows into visual design practices from concept generation to rapid iteration
    • Recent hands‑on experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Claude Design and relevant motion/illustration/AI design tools
