Job summary

East Side Union High School District seeks a skilled visual coach to support one or more of its high schools’ marching band and/or winter season programs. The coach will work with the credentialed teacher at District HiSchool, assisting students of varying skill levels in design, rehearsal preparation, instruction and performance support.

Qualifications

• Experience with visual skills and pedagogy for Marching band, Winter Guard or Winter Percussion.
• Experience teaching high school-aged students.
• Experience teaching small and large group instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assist visual caption head with designing choreography and movement for the production.
• Teach and clean choreography and movement.
• Attend rehearsals and performances with the director.
• Foster creativity, discipline and teamwork in an inclusive environment.
