Job summary

East Side Union High School District (ESUHSD) seeks a skilled and passionate visual designer to contribute to one or more of the district's high schools' Marching Band and/or Winter Season programs. The designer will work alongside the credentialed teacher at District High School, supporting students of varying skill levels.

This role includes design, rehearsal preparation, instruction, and performance support at one or more school sites, contributing to a high-quality production for a diverse

Qualifications

• Experience with designing visual representations related to Marching Band, Winter Guard and Winter Percussion.
• Experience teaching high school-aged students.
• Experience teaching small and large group instruction.
• Selected candidates must pass fingerprint clearance and provide TB test results prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Designer of the visual presentation for the season specific production.
• Attend and assist director at rehearsals as scheduled with the director.
• Attend performances as scheduled with the director.
• Stay advised as to the director's goals and agendas for timelines and materials learned by students.
• Foster student creativity, discipline, and teamwork in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment.
