Job summary

Qualifications

Salary

Salary: $63,000-$84,840 Salary is dependent on degree and experience; pay will be prorated per the start date.

Work Duration

Work Duration: 183 Days 7.5 Hours/Day

Responsibilities

• Set rigorous, appropriate learning outcomes for all students
• Guide and encourage students to develop and fulfill their creative artistic expression potential
• Establish supportive relationships with students
• Engage students in meaningful, developmentally appropriate, real-world learning activities
• Develop authentic and aligned assessments to measure student growth and inform instructional decisions
• Collaboratively work with team members to fulfill the mission, vision, and beliefs of both the school and the district
• Serve as an ambassador of St. Charles Parish Public Schools

Certification Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
• Possess a Louisiana teaching certificate Type “A,” “B,” or “C,” - or- Level1, 2 or 3 in Art Education

Experience in teaching art
