Job summary

Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey (HCDNNJ) is seeking AmeriCorps VISTA members to support capacity-building efforts, develop resource guides, assist with outreach and communications, and improve data collection and evaluation systems for housing resources and eviction prevention across New Jersey.

Members will collaborate with HCDNNJ staff and partner organizations to strengthen programs serving low- and moderate-income communities, gaining hands-on experience in community

Qualifications

• Interest in capacity-building for nonprofits and community development.
• Strong research and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners.
• Some college coursework completed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and develop resource guides to support housing initiatives.
• Assist with outreach, communications, and data collection improvements.
• Strengthen programs that expand access to housing resources and eviction prevention.
• Improve data systems and evaluation to measure impact.
