AmeriCorps is seeking a Resource Development & Volunteer Capacity VISTA to serve in Portland, Maine. This role focuses on enhancing grant development, creating a volunteer management system, and improving services for those experiencing homelessness.

Members are expected to work full-time and will receive a living allowance, childcare assistance (if eligible), and a choice of an education award or end-of-service stipend. The position also allows for working or attending school during off hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18, no maximum age.
• Permits attendance at school during off hours.
• Car recommended for commuting.
