Orel Alliance in Nebraska is seeking a VISTA Outreach and Communications Coordinator to help build capacity and raise awareness in Omaha and Lincoln. You will develop public outreach plans and collaborate with local social service organizations.

The role supports Ukrainian refugees with housing, healthcare, and essential services, pilots outreach strategies, and helps ensure sustainability by transitioning activities to staff.

Qualifications

• Some college education is acceptable.
• Experience in nonprofit outreach and community engagement is beneficial.
• Strong English communication skills and teamwork are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing a public outreach plan for Omaha and Lincoln.
• Build awareness of issues impacting Ukrainian refugees and resettlement resources.
• Pilot outreach strategies, create materials, and coordinate partnerships with local service organizations.
