United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a part-time Security Services team member at UHS Wilson Medical Center. You will perform a variety of safety-related tasks, safeguard employees, patients, visitors, physicians, and property, and issue clearances for visitors/non-employees to access facilities.

The role emphasizes compliance with background checks; NYS Security Guard License is preferred. This position does not include benefits and requires a day shift with 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Prior customer service experience.
• Background check must be successfully completed.
• Preferred: NYS Security Guard License.

Position Overview

Performs a variety of safety related functions while involved in the safeguarding of employees, patients, visitors, physicians and property. This position is also responsible for issuing clearances for visitors/non-employees into UHS facilities. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Security Services, UHS Wilson Medical Center Primary Work Shift: Day Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 20 Compensation Range: $17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience This position is not eligible for benefits.

Education / Experience

Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Prior customer service experience

License / Certification

Minimum Required: Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation Preferred: Ability to meet the requirements of the NYS Security Guard License
