The North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island is seeking a Visitor and Member Services Coordinator. This role reports to the Aquarium Director and leads guest services, admissions, security, and membership efforts to uphold an exceptional visitor experience.

You will supervise staff, manage customer service training, and coordinate surveys and programs across departments. Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience are preferred for consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience required.
• Experience with POS software in a zoo/aquarium/museum or public/retail venue preferred.
• Strong customer service experience including handling inquiries and complaints.
• Ability to supervise, train, and lead staff and ensure policies are followed.

Responsabilités

• Supervise a full-time guest liaison and admissions staff.
• Ensure excellent visitor and member experiences.
• Oversee PCI compliance and cash handling procedures.
• Coordinate membership sales, events, and activities.
• Provide customer service training for Aquarium staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with Education on program check-ins and school/group visits.
