Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Secret Clearance to start and be able to obtain/maintain TS/SCI/SAP eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 1–2 years related security experience.
• Prior experience in special program security is preferred but entry-level training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Check identification of all visitors and ensure sponsorship/clearance.
• Log visitors, issue badges, and notify hosts of arrivals.
• Process foreign official travel forms and sign off on security for onboarding new hires.
• Receive and distribute packages per SOPs; account for logs, equipment and badges.
• Support emergency procedures and incident response (bomb threats, evacuations, etc.).
• Transmit SAP/SCI/collateral visit certifications for F-35 JPO personnel.

We are seeking a Visitor Control Security Specialist to join our team to help contribute to our success and help us solve problems with innovation through intelligence.The position provides Security Visitor Control, program security administration to include personnel and information security functions as needed and is responsible to the Chief of Security, for entry and circulation control and other administrative duties to assure visitors are greeted professionally and receive assistance as necessary.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCheck identification of all visitors, and ensure all are sponsored and properly cleared via DISS or a local databaseDetermine visitors need to enter the building, log visitors in, issue visitor badges and notify hosts of visitor arrivalsEnsure visitors are not introducing any prohibited items (cell phones, pagers, jump drives, PDAs, etc.) in SAP areasGenerating forms, processing foreign official travel for all personnel, verifying clearance levels, and signing off on the security portion for system access for all onboarding new hiresReceive packages from outside agencies (UPS, Fed Ex, etc.) and distribute in accordance with facility standard operating proceduresCheck assigned personnel and ensure they have and are displaying authorized access badgesPerform emergency procedures for bomb threat, active shooter, force protection, Anti-Terrorism, fire evacuation and other emergency situations in accordance with emergency procedures checklistsAccount for all logs, instructions, equipment and badges at the beginning and end of each scheduled workdayAssist with personnel, information, program security and entry control functionsTransmit SAP, SCI, and collateral visit certifications for F-35 JPO personnelIssue, maintain, distribute, track, and inventory F-35 JPO visitor badgesProcess incoming and outgoing visit requestsCreate and process country clearance requests through the approved visit systemMonitor and control incoming and outgoing U.S. Government propertyCollect, maintain, and close out foreign travel reportsSecurity Clearance Requirement:Must have at least a Secret Clearance to start and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI/SAP eligibilityMust be willing to submit to a CI polygraphEducational and Position Requirements:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 1-2 years related experiencePrior experience in special program security work highly preferred, but willing to accept and train entry-level employee if otherwise qualifiedAdditional InformationThis job description is not designed to cover or contain all job duties required of the employee.
