Rutgers University’s RWJ - RINTS seeks a Visiting Researcher to join a Parkinson's disease project in the Neurology lab. The role involves bioinformatics analyses of imaging and omics data, plus statistical work and manuscript preparation. A Master’s degree in bioinformatics or related field and experience in Python, MATLAB and/or R are required.

• Master's degree in bioinformatics or related field.
• Proficient coding in Python; MATLAB and/or R required.
• Experience analyzing biological imaging data.
• Strong communication of plans and findings.

Responsibilities

• Undertake bioinformatics analyses of imaging, genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics data.
• Conduct statistical analyses of biological data and other analyses as needed.
• Collaborate with lab members and Rutgers collaborators.
• Store data, analyses and code in lab folders and GitHub as directed.
• Present analyses at lab and scientific meetings; help prepare manuscripts.
