Job summary

The Information Security and Digital Forensics Department at the Massry School of Business, University at Albany, SUNY, invites applications for a non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor of Information Security and Digital Forensics position, beginning Fall 2026.

This is a one-year temporary appointment, with possible extensions up to two additional years, subject to successful review and university approval.

Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited college or university.
• ABD candidates will be considered.
• Experience teaching in diverse modalities (in-person, online, asynchronous) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses assigned by the Department of Information Security and Digital Forensics.
• Provide service to the Department of Information Security and Digital Forensics.
• Engage in scholarly activities and mentorship of students.
