Job summary

University of Central Oklahoma seeks a visiting nursing faculty member for a non-tenure track, temporary appointment. The role includes teaching undergraduate and graduate nursing courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats, advising students, and maintaining records per university policies.

The candidate will engage in scholarly activities and contribute to departmental, college, and university committees as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing is required.
• Current Oklahoma RN license, CPR, vaccination status and TB testing required.
• Drug screen will be required before starting clinical duties.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience is required.
• Doctorate is preferred or pursuit toward earned doctorate in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Duties include classroom and clinical teaching of undergraduate and graduate nursing courses.
• Advise, mentor students, and evaluate performance; maintain records as requested.
• Engage in scholarly/creative activities and service aligned with policy.
