Job Description - Visiting Nurse under Global Healthcare Talent Scheme (HO2504004). The Hospital Authority (HA) welcomes experienced nurses from all over the world to join us for medium-term clinical exchange programmes ranging from 12 months to 24 months under Limited Registration. Position Offered

Registered Nurse (General) (Limited Registration)

Pay

HK$37,590 - HK$60,488 (HGPS Point 15 to 25) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.

Entry Requirements

• Registered under the law of a place outside Hong Kong as a Registered Nurse in that place and hold a valid practising certificate
• With at least one year of full-time post-qualification clinical experience in a clinic or hospital
• Able to communicate in English
• Able to communicate in Cantonese
• A degree in Nursing or equivalent

Nursing Registration and Employment Visa

The HA will arrange selection interviews with shortlisted candidates and will support applications of suitable candidates to the Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK) to practice under Limited Registration.

The HA will also assist successfully registered candidates who are not Hong Kong residents in obtaining employment visas from the Immigration Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government prior to commencement of work.

• Applicants are required to upload (1) full resume*, (2) nursing graduation certificate, (3) valid practising certificate from local registration authority, (4) registration certificate from local registration authority, (5) documentary proof(s) of all full-time post-qualification clinical experience and (6) post-qualification nursing training (if any) listed in the resume in the "Attachment Upload" page when making online application. Application will only be processed with relevant supporting documents.

* Full resume should include details of the followings:

• Pre-qualification nursing training
• Professional nursing qualifications
• Details of post-registration clinical experience e.g. medical, surgical, intensive care, etc.
• Post-qualification nursing training (if any)

3. Appointment will be on contract terms for an agreed period of 12 to 24 months under the current Scheme.

4. Candidates outside Hong Kong may be granted economy class passage from country of origin to Hong Kong as well as economy class passage on return upon completion of the terminal contract.

5. Salaries tax in Hong Kong is currently charged at progressive rates of up to 17%, or standard rate of 15%, whichever is lower.

6. May be required to work shifts and irregular hours as well as to perform on-call duties.
