Job Location: Main Campus - MIAMI GARDENS, FL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida, invites applications for a full-time visiting faculty position in Mathematics for Spring 2027. This is a one-semester appointment, with the possibility of consideration for a continuing full-time position beginning Fall 2027.

We are seeking a dependable, student-focused faculty member who is comfortable teaching a range of undergraduate mathematics courses. The primary responsibility of this position is teaching and supporting student success.

Responsibilities

• Teach a full-time undergraduate mathematics course load.
• Teach courses that may include College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics, depending on departmental needs.
• Maintain regular office hours and provide academic support to students.
• Work collaboratively with mathematics faculty on common course materials, assessments, and student success initiatives.
• Participate in departmental activities as needed.
