Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be an exceptional collaborative artist and pianist with demonstrated excellence in teaching and a successful record of performance in a variety of genres.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will: Serve as principal accompanist for the ULM Choral ensembles; serve as rehearsal accompanist and vocal coach for opera and music theatre productions; serve as collaborative pianist on faculty and student performances. Participation in recruitment efforts is also expected.Additional duties may be included based upon the interests and qualifications of the successful candidate. Duties may include teaching applied voice, music literature courses, and music education courses. Final assignment of duties will be based on the needs of the music program and qualifications of the candidate.Minimum QualificationsM.M. minimum: Completed doctorate or ABD, and experience teaching at the collegiate-level preferred. Experience providing vocal coaching to music majors and minors is desired.
