The Department of History (http://history.olemiss.edu/) at the University of Mississippi invites applications for a Visiting Instructional Assistant Professor of US History. This is a one-year appointment beginning August 2025 with a teaching load of 4/4.

Duties include teaching undergraduate courses at both introductory and advanced levels in United States history.

Appointment: 9 months

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in History or a related field is required prior to appointment.
