The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) invites applications for a full-time Visiting Faculty position in Finance beginning Fall 2027 for an academic year. The appointment may be renewed based on need. The candidate will teach undergraduate Finance courses, publish research, and contribute to the Finance Department and School of Business.

ABD candidates will be considered if all requirements for the doctoral degree are completed prior to employment. Strong teaching and active research are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Finance, Financial Economics, or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution; ABD considered if degree completed before start.
• Evidence of effective teaching or strong potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate level.
• Evidence of an active research agenda in Finance and potential for continued scholarly activity.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate Finance courses based on departmental needs.
• Deliver high-quality, student-centered instruction consistent with the School of Business mission.
• Maintain an active scholarly agenda in Finance.
• Incorporate current developments in markets, analytics, and AI into teaching where appropriate.
• Mentor students and participate in departmental and School of Business activities.
