Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures, Second Language Acquisition, or a related field is required; ABD candidates are invited to apply. The candidate can expect to teach all levels of Russian language, literature, and culture. The teaching load is 3/3. The preferred area of specialization is Russian language pedagogy, and experience or research interest in teaching heritage speakers is especially welcome. The successful candidate will have prior experience as a primary classroom instructor and will demonstrate teaching excellence.
