Job summary

Central Clinic Behavioral Health in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Visitation Specialist to facilitate therapeutic visitation for families involved with child welfare and coordinate care within the Family Healing Center.

You will participate in agency committees and provide transportation using a personal vehicle as needed, while modeling evidence-based parent/child interaction and collaborating with partner agencies.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and families that have experienced trauma and child welfare.
  • Strong case management and trauma-informed care skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate therapeutic visitation with families involved with child welfare and coordination of care.
  • Participate in all agency and/or Children's Services committees for task forces or projects as designated.
  • Provide transportation of clients in a personal vehicle, as necessary.
  • Provide supervised visitation to families as ordered by Juvenile Court, modeling effective parent/child interaction based on evidence-based practices.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies involved in client’s care.

Position Summary
